    Yonsei University opened the Institute of African Studies in November 2023 as a way to recognize Africa’s geopolitical importance and to establish active exchange and cooperation. We are the only independent research institute in Korea specializing in Africa, extending Yonsei University's core strategy to realize the SDGs.
